Cartoo Forum, the biggest pitching event in Europe for animated series, started on Monday the 16th September with an outstanding line-up from Finland. In addition to five cheerful Finnish projects to be pitched during the following three days, Ferly is nominated as Investor of the Year. For a company less than 3 years old it has already set up offices in 3 countries and is developing around 10 different projects. The nomination came from its licensing operations. It represents world famous brands from Italian Winx Club to Icelandic Tulipop.
All professionals attending the Cartoon Forum can vote for their favourite nominee in all 3 categories. The award ceremony will hightlight the event with the record participants over 1000 on Thursday 19 September during lunch.

The winners will receive a Cartoon Tributes trophy, symbol of the professional recognition from their peers. The aim of the Cartoon Tributes is to reward outstanding achievements, companies or personalities that have had a positive and dynamic influence on TV animation industry over the last year. 2018 winners included Finnish broadcasting company YLE as Broadcaster of the Year. Investor/Distributor of the Year award went to Irteland as 9 Story Distribution International got most votes.
