Best & Bester deal with Nickelodeon announced

Another series by Finnish animation studio Gigglebug Entertainment goes to the major kids’ channel. Best and Bester was first presented at Cartoon Forum in 2017 by company founders Anttu Harlin and Joonas Utti. It is only last October when Gigglebug announced its collaboration with Disney on making The Unstoppable Yellow Yeti the original developed at Gigglebug.
Anima’s film projects going forward as the company celebrates 20th anniversary

Following successful presence at Cartoon Movie, Anima Vitae’s 3D animated feature film project Fleak has taken major steps forward and the production is expected to start next year. A deal memo of international sales has been signed and more details of this will be announced later.

Five Finnish projects are going to be pitched at Cartoon Forum 2019

After one year from the Spotlight on Finland at Cartoon Forum there will be five projects from Finland that will be pitched in Toulouse in September. Since 1990 total 774 series have found financing with a total budget of 2,7 billion EUR at the biggest Cartoon event. Finnish entries include Mr. Clutterbuck, Pikkuli Christmas special and new series from Ferly, Plotwise and Haruworks.
